Scott has owned and operated a full service home inspection company in central Mississippi since 1995. In 2006 Scott expanded into the Nashville, TN area and is the primary inspector for the Mid-Tennessee office. Since 1995 he has inspected over 4,500 single family homes; 750 EIFS clad homes and numerous commercial buildings. His primary business is centered on residential and light commercial building inspections for individuals purchasing existing homes and commercial buildings. He also performs progress/phase/draw inspections for commercial and residential new construction. He serves as an litigation consultant and has been recognized as an expert witness in legal cases involving residential construction issues, EIFS and home inspection problems; he was one of the first in the South to provide certified EIFS and moisture intrusion inspections. In 2006 Scott inspected over $119,300,000 in residential property and $32,500,000 in commercial structures.
